The risks of using artificial intelligence as a tool and means of committing offences: problems of legal regulation and ways of counteracting them

The development of digital technologies and their active introduction into all spheres of life of society and the state have led to the emergence of new types of offences related to the use of artificial intelligence. When studying artificial intelligence is considered as a field of computer science dealing with the creation of systems capable of performing tasks that require human intellectual abilities. The article presents the results of the study of the risks of using artificial intelligence, including as a tool and means of committing crimes that can cause significant harm to the individual, society and the state. Special attention in the article is paid to the analysis of the risks of using artificial intelligence, the problems of its legal regulation and the use of this technology for criminal purposes. In the course of the study, the authors conclude that it is necessary to develop a set of measures to counteract crimes committed with the use of artificial intelligence.
