This article examines the impact of external shocks on the country’s food industry, focusing on geopolitical conflicts and economic sanctions. The article examines the challenges faced by food producers in the situation of supply chain disruption, reduced demand, and reputational damage. Drawing on recent examples, including the conflict in Ukraine and sanctions against Russia, the article highlights the potential risks and negative consequences of external shocks to the food industry.
