Risks in the Laos economy at the present stage

Laos is landlocked and heavily dependent on the economies of neighboring countries such as China, Thailand and Vietnam. The economic debts of Laos show that overdependence and reliance on China, lack of foreign exchange, inflation and production cuts have brought Laos to the brink of economic collapse and Laos' debts have skyrocketed. This study focuses on the risks of the Lao economy, inflation, public debt and the Lao crisis, which shows that the government's economic plan does not balance economic relations, and the high share of public debt and inflation has challenged the Lao economy.
