Risks of implementing carbon dioxide utilization methods and technologies at oil and gas enterprises of the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the risks associated with the implementation of carbon dioxide utilization methods and technologies at enterprises in the oil and gas sector of the Russian Federation. Based on a survey of oil and gas industry experts and an analysis of the domestic and foreign regulatory framework, technical, economic, environmental and regulatory barriers to the implementation of the selected methods and technologies were identified. Strategic recommendations were developed to minimize the risks of implementation and improve the efficiency of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas utilization projects.
