Drawing and color in the understanding of coloristic solutions for the formation of the urban environment

Drawing is the basis of many sciences, it captures the ideas of an emerging idea. Color plays an important role in every person’s life. By developing and improving the skills of fine art, the desire to cultivate a color culture will undoubtedly lead to successful architectural and design design solutions, the formation of an urban environment taking into account functional purpose, aesthetic requirements and natural and climatic conditions. Considering the evolution of coloristic solutions from cultural heritage sites to modern construction sites, the authors have identified all possible directions of using color in various forms of environmental space. The processes of competent, successful application of colors in architectural and design projects need to be trained. The authors consider the purpose of the study to be the disclosure of the potential in color composition used in practice in an urban environment, and the role of color literacy teaching methods in the course of student education. As a result of searches and discussions, a methodology for teaching the process of competent and successful application of colors in architectural and design solutions of the environment surrounding a person has been formed.
