Rhythmic and semantic correlations in the musical and poetic texts of “The Poem of Ecstasy” by A. N. Skryabin

The article is devoted to the comparison of the rhythmics of musical and poetic texts of “The Poem of Ecstasy” by N. A. Skryabin. The analysis of rhythm in the main music themes and the poetic text of “The Poem of Ecstasy” allows to make the conclusion that the main music themes in “The Poem of Ecstasy” have their semantic equivalents in the poetic text and rhythm may serve the key for their identification.
