Parental family as a guideline image of youth’s family identity

The article presents the results of the empirical research aimed at investigating the influence of the parental family on formation of the personal family identity. It is proved, that peculiarities of perception of the parental family structure and young people’s ideas about functioning of their own future family are determined by gender of a respondent. The type of emotional relation (cohesion) and the role structure (adaptiveness) in the parental family determine specifics of family identity component''s development of young people.
