On the Role of A. P. Baikuzov in First Russian Revolution

The article deals with an understudied aspect of the history of the revolutionary movement in the Mordovia region - the personality of A. P. Baykuzov, the head of the «Ruzaevka Republic». The author considers his role in the revolutionary events of December 1905 and raises the question of the significance of this figure in the history of the revolutionary movement on the territory of Mordovia.
