Role of bible stories, images and motifs in the works of Russian heavy-metal band "Aria". The examples from Margarita Pushkina's songs

The article examines lyrics of Russian heavy-metal band "Aria" in order to determine the place and role of the biblical text in their art. We considered the images of Jesus Christ, Pontius Pilate and the Antichrist and analyzed their attitude to the Christianity by identifying correspondences and deviations from the biblical tradition.
