The role of business ecosystems in forming the ecosystem of the regional economy

The problem of the development of the regional economy is becoming increasingly important in the context of global digital transformations. The unevenness in regional development is forcing the authorities and businesses to look for new, more modern ways to equalize the existing disproportion. An important role in this is played by economic agents or groups of agents that operate in the region, and the efficiency of the regional economy depends on the effectiveness of their interaction. The article is devoted to the study of business ecosystems, their types, as well as their role in shaping the architecture of the ecosystem of the regional economy. The methodological basis of the study is an ecosystem aР.roach to the development of business structures in the region as ecosystems that form an integrated ecosystem of the regional economy. It is shown that business ecosystems are a new format for DOIng business. It is concluded that the ecosystem of the regional economy is an integrated set of business ecosystems of various types and is formed as a result of their synergistic combination.
