The role of Chechens in the development of the mining and smelting industry of the Central Kazakhstan in 1944-1957

Studying the documentary sources found by the author in the central and regional archives of Kazakhstan, the article attempts to uncover unknown facts and figures of the constructive activity of Chechens in the mining and smelting industry development in the central Kazakhstan in 1944-1957. It is noted that the particular migrants of the Karaganda region - Chechens and Ingushes - not only showed high performance in the mines, but also were innovators and pioneers of manufacturing.
