The role of the human factor in the safety management system

This article considers the human factor as one of the causes of accidents and incidents. The safety analysis of global civil aviation in the period from the 1960s to the 2010s was carried out, the main causes of aviation events were identified, and the influence of the human factor on the activities of civil aviation was determined. Based on the data obtained, recommendations have been developed for reducing the influence of the human factor within the flight safety management system.
