The role of spiritually oriented psychotherapy in the modern system of treatment for patients with mental disorders

The article presents the brief development and the establishment of the basic foundation, as well as methods of spiritually oriented psychotherapy. The value and necessity of spiritually oriented psychotherapy’s applications in terms of the modern society challenges (the impact of information technologies, the destruction of the family institution, the reorientation of spiritual values). The modern psychotherapy and the spiritually oriented psychotherapy: principles of interaction and interference. There is value of spiritually oriented psychotherapy for psychoprophylaxis, psychohygiene, man’s treatment and rehabilitation. The results of applying the psychotherapeutic treatment for patients with mental disorders had analyzed.
