The value of the decisions of European Court of Human Rights to protect the rights of the patient is shown. Specific categories of medical care cases are indicated, methods of implementation of European Court of Human Rights decisions are considered. The inconsistency of the decisions of European Court of Human Rights, the difficulties in the implementation of these decisions in law enforcement are underlined.
