Role of photographic image in conctucting and maintaining tradition

The phenomenon of tradition is mainly in the field of historical sciences. Nevertheless, it could be analyzed in socio-anthropological perspective. Tradition is fully formed cultural pattern. The question is what are socio-cultural mechanisms of creating and maintaining tradition. This article is focused on phenomenon of photography as mechanism for maintaining the existence of a tradition.
