The Role of Geological and Hydrodynamic Modeling in the Analysis of Reserves Development

The article considers key aspects of the application of geological-hydrodynamic modeling (GHDM) for the analysis of hydrocarbon reserves development. Particular attention is paid to the differences between static and dynamic models, as well as the practical application of hydrodynamic methods in field development control. Based on the analysis of field research data, isobar maps and well testing (WT) data, it is shown how modeling allows optimizing the development system and increasing production efficiency.
