Role of hyperhomocysteinemia in the development of misсarriage

In order to study the relationship between hyperhomocysteinemia and cases of termination of pregnancy, a prospective examination of 74 patients was carried out, among whom 28% (21) had a threatened spontaneous miscarriage - group I, group II - 38% (28), who had termination of pregnancy before 22 weeks, and control group III made up 34% (25) of pregnant women without pathology. It was revealed that women with miscarriage have high levels of extragenital pathology, a burdened gynecological history, combined with hyperhomocysteinemia.
