The regulatory framework and the results of state support for the development of the country’s innovation potential are determined. The influence of digitalization on innovation potential is shown. The necessity of adjusting the methodology for assessing the level of innovation potential in the conditions of digitalization is proved. The indicators that it is advisable to take into account when calculating the innovative potential of the national economy are proposed. An algorithm for calculating the innovation potential of the national economy is proposed.
