The role of public service in the process of realization of sustainable development of the state

The article analyzes problems of the sustainable development of the state and the role of professional public service in this process. On this basis, the authors substantiate the leading role of the state and its institutes. The article concentrates on the research of the institute of public service in modern Russia and allocates the basic directions of its reforming, the most significant problems in the studied sphere and proves a conclusion about dependence of the process of the sustainable development of the state and the results of modernization of public service.
