The role of housing characteristics in demographic development trends in the Volgograd region

This research article examines the correlation between the characteristics of the housing stock, the birth of children and the number of marriages in the Volgograd region. On the basis of the analyzed statistics, the main trends of demographic development are summarized and the dynamics of housing stock development by key indicators is given. The article also examines sociological studies and indicators characterizing the development of the family institution in rural and urban areas in the Volgograd region.
