The role of an artistic image in the design of a set of furniture for use in the service sector

The purpose of this article is to develop an artistic image of a set of furniture that will be used in the sphere of services related to the aesthetics of hand beauty. We described the role of the artistic image in interior design. We explained the basic principles of choosing an artistic image in modern design: compliance with the requirements of functionality and ergonomics; conformity to the principles of aesthetics and harmony; reflection of actual design trends; correspondence to the surrounding environment. We proposed three variants of the design concept for a set of furniture designed for a manicurist. This study shows how the choice of artistic image affects the final appearance of design products.
