Role and tools for optimizing the size of agricultural producers in Russia

The article is devoted to the study of the size of agricultural producers in order to determine the most competitive, cost-effective enterprises in the industry, which in the future will allow a more competent approach to the formation of state support for agricultural producers and make decisions on investments in the industry. In addition, the research carried out allows us to determine the needs for infrastructure and educational projects. Data from foreign countries on variations in the size of agricultural producers are considered. A set of indicators is presented to assess the size of enterprises in this group. The factors influencing the size of enterprises on their economic efficiency are determined.
