Risk factors for its development include smoking and alcohol, exposure to harmful chemical factors, as well as chronic inflammation of the corresponding localization, caused, among other things, by the human papillomavirus. The clinical picture of oropharyngeal cancer often imitates infectious diseases, while untimely diagnosis followed by unfavorable outcomes.
