The role and influence of material values on the political process: a historical-comparative approach
Бесплатный доступ
The aim of the study is to analyze the influence of material values on political processes within the framework of a historical-comparative approach. Since the times of the Ancient World, philosophers have studied politics, political processes and described common problems regardless of the era, such as the use of power resources for personal economic interests. The study shows that not only government officials often put personal economic interests above state ones, but also representatives of different classes of society struggle to obtain if not the maximum economic benefits, then the minimum ones. The analysis shows that in order to minimize cases of using power for personal enrichment, it is necessary to refine the economic theorem of R. Coase.
