The role of the USA identity in the “rogue states” concept

The article examines the “rogue states" concept as a social construct created by the U.S. government. The author explains the conflict potential in its core by means of the identity theory. Conclusions are drawn about the reasons of the concept’s emergence and the refusal of B. Obama and his administration to apply it at the official level.
