The role of innovation in the pharmaceutical industry in the post-pandemic period

Today, the need for the development of innovation as a key factor in sustainable long-term economic recovery is one of the most important priorities of economic policy in many countries of the world. Innovative processes, within which the development of technological, commercial innovations takes place, are an integral part of the modern development of scientific and technological progress, and consist in the final release of a new or highly modified product that will bring commercial benefits up to full payback of the money spent and invested. This type of activity is used in the future at all stages of the development of the company and the production of new products or the refinement of existing ones. The article analyzes the role of innovation in the pharmaceutical industry at the present stage of development.
