The role of innovation potential in the economic security of the country

The article considers internal and external factors influencing innovation activity, which acts as the basis of the national security of the country. The paper describes "economic security" as a state of the economy, which ensures sustainable economic growth and protection of the interests of the state at the national and international level. In order to improve innovation activities and ensure national security in the field of science and technology, the directions of development of state policy are proposed.
