Role of institute of archaeology and ethnography of SB RAS in rescue archaeological activities in the territory of Siberia and the Far East

Relevance of rescue archaeology on territory of Siberia and the Far East is defined by expansion of economic development of the territory as well as natural destruction and distribution of illegal excavations of archaeological sites. The paper reveals the importance of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in solving urgent problems. Assesses the capacity of the Institute as the largest multi-research institution in North Asia. Presents the history of rescue and divisions of the Institute with the necessary human and logistical capacity for complex and large projects. As a key unit to the relevant work, the rescue department of archaeology in the Institute. Division is the new level of training and solving problems related to the conservation and study of historical and cultural heritage of Siberia and the Far East during the rescue operations. Of particular relevance are proposals for organizing the Authority, Association of Researchers in the field of protection and rescue and drafting provisions to the rules and regulations of the implementation of the archaeological survey of way. The authors go on to argue that Institute is possible scientific and methodological center of such kind of association.
