The article reviews the role of error correction in foreign language teaching at business schools, the history of approaches to the problem, compares the views of researchers and teachers on appropriateness/inappropriateness of error correction in terms of impact on the efficiency of the process of foreign language teaching. Examines the types of errors that are being considered in the course of speech training, and what types of error correction should be applied. Attempts are made to define the psychological impact of correcting errors on the motivation of trainees.
