The role of electronic payment systems in the process of the economy digital transformation

The article is devoted to the study of the digital transformation of the economy and the role of electronic payment systems in this process. Considered the types of electronic payment systems and their functions. Determined the main stages of the digital transformation of the economy, and given characteristic to each of them. Analyzed the influence of the population on the digitalization of the economy and the implementation of the program for the introduction of electronic payment systems in the structure of the state's monetary system. The conclusion is made about the growing influence and importance of electronic payment systems in ensuring the development of digital infrastructure elements and new payment products.
