In this article various definitions of the concept of designing activity, its kinds depending on the material used and designing organization forms are presented. The author of the article also shows the influence of designing activity on child's all-round development, namely, the development of sensor-perceptual sphere, psycho-motor system, orientation activity, motivation, practical cogitation and personality as a whole.
