The role of cooperation in the development of agrarian sector of economy on the territory of the Northern Caucasus at the beginning of the 20th century

The various activities of rural cooperation of the North Caucasus during the pre-revolutionary period are analyzed in the article. The role of different types of cooperatives in the solution of social and economic problems of rural commodity producers is defined. The value of the credit cooperation activity for the development of market economy of the region is shown.
