The role of corporate strategies in sustainable development of Russian regions

The role of corporate strategies in the sustainable development of Russian regions is key. RU-business entities are the producers of GRP. The achievement by RU-business of the benchmarks of corporate strategies contributes to the improvement of the investment rating of the regions. The conducted research allows us to assert that the results of corporate strategies of the largest regional subjects of RU-business influence the sustainable development of the regions. The essence, objectives, tools, results of corporate strategies of sustainable “green” regional qualitative change are outlined. Corporate “green” strategies of regional RU-business are considered as socially responsible ESG strategies of financing projects aimed at eliminating environmental problems and achieving the goals of sustainable development of regions. External and internal risks of realization of corporate “green” strategies are named. The content of corporate strategies of the largest subjects of RU-business that ensure sustainable development of regions is analyzed. Formats of assistance to their implementation, along with strategic corporate control, contributing to the achievement of strategic goals of development of Russian regions are named.
