Role of the largest transnational companies in the mining industry in the development of investment cooperation between EAEU countries

This article examines the activities of the largest transnational corporations in the mining industry on the territory of the EAEU, as well as their role in the development of investment cooperation between the EAEU member states. Accumulated investments in the EAEU are concentrated mainly in the mining industry, which is related to the specifics of the export of the EAEU countries. The largest investors in the EAEU are Russian companies such as Gazprom, Lukoil and Rosneft. The investment activity of transnational corporations contributes to the acceleration of scientific and technological progress, is a stimulator of international labor migration, and also favorably affects the economic and social development of the EAEU countries.
