The article is devoted to the consideration of the features of marketplaces that have been widely developed in recent years, their differences from online stores. Attention is paid to internal processes - pricing, algorithms of actions, infrastructure, logistics of online orders, key indicators of logistics activities. The article gives a fairly complete idea of how marketplaces work, what they are guided by in their activities and development. The role of an integrated approach contributing to the formation and development of ecosystems of marketplaces is emphasized.
