In this article the role of such department at the enterprise as marketing service is analyzed. This department carries out the fundamental tasks and functions providing stable existence of firm in the conditions of the competition. The marketing department has to be present at any organization irrespective of its amount and a stage of development. The main objectives and functions of marketing service after acquaintance with which all importance of existence of this department at the enterprise is understood are presented in article.
