The purpose of this work was to study the role of medial structures of the amygdala complex of the brain in peptidergic mechanisms of resistance to the emotional stress of Wistar rats. In rats, the content of beta-endorphin and substance P in the blood and hypothalamus was determined in conditions of emotional stress on the background of anodic exclusion of the medial sections of the amygdala. Under conditions of stress on the level of peptides (VP and BE) in the hypothalamus and blood plasma, we can speak about characteristic reactions in rats with different stress resistance. Moreover, the reciprocity with respect to substance P is more pronounced in stress-resistant Wistar rats, and in relation to beta endorphin in rats predisposed to emotional stress.
