The role of soft power in the policy of the world's leading countries in Central Asia

We are currently witnessing a kind of competition for influence in Central Asia from the world's leading actors. In the conditions of the post-Soviet space, the influence of foreign states has become an obvious fact; this can be observed in the policies of the Russian Federation, China, Islamic States, India, the USA and the EU, etc. It should be noted that, nevertheless, some features still exist. This may be due to the geographical, civilizational and resource characteristics of the region. To date, competition for influence in the region remains a potential geopolitical determinant that may affect the countries of Central Asia.
