The role of models in creation of new group of spatial mechanisms and devices on their base, containing only rotary hinges on standard rolling bearings is shown. Mechanisms of this group were small and were researched only theoretically, not only natural samples of mechanisms, but also efficient models weren't made. In this group the essential gap between the theory and practical use of spatial mechanisms in the equipment was observed. The problem was that in theoretical researches the length of adjacent links were crossed in one point, and the length of theoretical models didn't equal to lengths on material links, they weren't crossed in one point, as a result links weren't turned. The manufacturing techniques, both models, and natural samples which promoted creation and development of the new scientific direction of the theory of spatial mechanisms only with rotary hinges are developed. More than one hundred new mechanisms and on their base the various devices at the level of inventions were formed, many of which are implemented in the equipment with different functions. Devices showed high technical and economic rates in many engineering procedures and various functions without readjustments.
