This article considers the activities of employees of the Mordovian Republican Museum of Fine Arts named after S. D. Erzya aimed to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the Mordovian people. The conclusion is made that activities are constantly being carried out here to collect and popularize the most valuable artifacts of the Mordovian culture.
