The role of «people's journalism» in public communicative interaction

In this paper, the phenomenon of «people's journalism» is examined. In the author's opinion, professional journalists can use texts of this genre only as a source of information. It is indicated that close interaction between professionals and «people's journalists» significantly enhances the social effect of mass communications.
