The article considers the features of the sources of formation of the Federal budget of Russia as a whole and its component part in the form of VAT receipts for internal and external transactions of taxpayers. Indicators of the share of Federal budget revenues from VAT for 2017-2019, as well as the planned periods 202-2021 are disclosed.
