The role of ensuring environmental safety of the Russian armed forces in the system of environmental safety management of territories

The article deals with the essence of the environmental safety management system in Russia, approaches to ensuring environmental safety of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The purpose, mechanisms, and legal basis for ensuring environmental safety of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the structure of military environmental management bodies, are revealed. The conclusion is made about the importance of the role of ensuring environmental safety of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the need to improve the management system of environmental safety of military activities.
