This article discusses the impact of the food industry in Kyrgyzstan on the consumer market, substantiates the role of the food industry in saturating the consumer market with food products. One of the most priority sectors of the national economy of Kyrgyzstan is the food industry, which accounts for about 25% of exports and more than 25% of the country's total industry. The article considers the current state of the food industry, identifies the main problems and further prospects for the development of the food industry in Kyrgyzstan as part of the regional integration bloc of the EAEU. The analysis carried out showed further prospects for the studied industry in raising the level of economic development.
