Currently, a new model of economic development of business entities is being formed in Russia - the project model, which is based on project activities. The article considers project activity as a field of professional activity, reveals the features of its implementation as a special process and tool for introducing innovations. Its role in the development of innovations is determined by the fact that the project-oriented economic activity of subjects contributes to the rapid introduction and dissemination of new products and services.
