Contribution of professor P. M. Albitsky to organization of the department of general pathology at the Tomsk Emperor University

Biography of Pyotr M. Albitsky, wellrecognized Russian pathologist, is presented. The article highlights outstanding contribution of Professor Albitsky to the Russian pathophysiology. It gives brief review of his scientific, educational, clinical, and community activities and reveals his contribution to the organization and development of the Department of General Pathology at the Tomsk Emperor University.
