The role of public diplomacy in promoting the Belt and Road Chinese initiative in the international arena

The study identifies the place and role of public diplomacy in promoting the Belt and Road Chinese Initiative in the international area. The paper reviews special programs in the field of information, education, and culture which are to promote a positive image of the project. The research shows, firstly, the evolution of the defined strategy, secondly, the project activities of the government in the field of public diplomacy, thirdly, the results of Chinese activities in this regard. The author concludes that new projects of China in the public diplomacy are effective for the positive publicity of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Chinese government skillfully applies information, culture, and education in order to engage more countries in this initiative, gain investments and support from a variety of countries.
