The role of parental authority in education in the opinion of A.S. Makarenko

Modern pedagogical science has a lot of evidence of the priority of family education in the development of the child's personality. At present, family pedagogy is an intensively developing branch of scientific knowledge. Such scientific disciplines as philosophy, economics, psychology, sociology, acmeology and others regard the family, and hence social pedagogy, as a social institution, which was created by mankind as a specific civilizational conquest as an object of research.
