Role of Kazan sisters of mercy under the Russian Red Cross community in helping people during the years of crop failure, famine and epidemics

The article is devoted to the activities of the sisters of mercy working under the Kazan Red Cross Community during the turn of the 20th century, who were engaged in active and various charitable activities in the hard years of crop failure, famine and epidemics. The Kazan Community of the sisters of mercy contributed a lot to the saving of sufferers' lives.
