The role of sphingomyeline and ceramide on a proliferation and apoptosis process of hepatocellular carcinoma cancer cells

It was investigated the influence of intravenous injects of liposomes loaded by sphingomyeline and ceramide on a process of proliferation and apoptosis during the hepatocelular carcinoma development, caused by diethylnitrosamine. It was shown, the most expressed effects on tested index was occurred by liposomes loaded by sphingomyeline at the early stadies of hepatocarcinogenesis, the action of liposomes loaded by ceramide was analogous at the late period of cancer development.
